While I wonder if I put this in the right gallery...
I was bored yesterday, and I had some clay left over from last December. Why did I make Mr. Spock? Heck if I know, but he looks so adorable, I'm gonna stick a pin in his back and chain him to my cell phone. Or something equally ridiculous. Air-dry clay with acrylics for color. About 3.5 cm tall (those would be bobbins next to him). |

How did you mix air-dry clay with acrylic? I tried that and the clay got all dry, even if i wetted it D:

My hair is a bird, your argument is invalid!
I wonder... Are you using the right kind of clay? Adding too much paint? (The clay hardens on me if I overdo the acrylic.) The clay I used is an air-dry resin clay called Grace. I just add a little bit of paint and knead it in. That brand takes mixing well, so it was no trouble for me.
